Jeff Austin III, chairman of Jacksonville-based Austin Bank, recently announced the addition of four lenders.
Lori Danielson was elected assistant vice president and relationship manager in Longview. She brings 11 years of business development, sales and management experience, most recently serving as area vice president of business development for Gentiva Health Services. She was owner and publisher of Coffee News of East Texas for 14 years and spent eight years with Concord Management Ltd. in marketing management. Danielson is a graduate of Kilgore College and Texas A&M University. A native of Longview, she is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Longview, where she served as executive vice president. She has also served on the Junior Achievement board of directors; LeTourneau University President’s Advisory Council; CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Guild; co-chair of the Longview Sesquicentennial 2020 Ball; and is a Leadership Longview alumnus.
George “Lee” Lewis IV has been named vice president and commercial lender. He joins the Austin Bank lending team in the Marshall office. With 17 years of management and lending experience in the community banking industry, Lewis comes to Austin Bank from First National Bank of Hughes Springs where he served as executive vice president, branch coordinator and senior lender. Prior to FNBHS, Lewis worked for Texas National Bank in Marshall where he began his banking career as a credit analyst. He is a graduate of the University of Texas–Austin and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Lewis currently serves as a Marshall ISD School Board trustee.
Jorge Moreno has been elected vice president and relationship manager. He joins the Austin Bank lending team in The Woodlands’ Creekside Park location with 22 years of relationship banking, management and lending experience. His career began in 2001 with Woodforest National Bank and he has worked for Amegy Bank as assistant branch manager; Spirit of Texas Bank as assistant vice president, lending officer and branch manager; and most recently with Bank of Houston as vice president and lending officer.
Dustin Wilkinson has been named vice president and relationship manager. A 10-year community banker, he comes to Austin Bank from American State Bank where he served as a commercial lender. His career in the Tyler area market also includes time with BancorpSouth as a commercial lender, consumer and small-business lender for both U Bank and Texas National Bank and credit analyst for Texas Bank and Trust. Wilkinson is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BBA degree in banking and financial institutions. He currently serves as a board member for the Bullard Economic Development Corp. and the East Texas Food Bank. As a member of the Tyler lending team, Wilkinson will office in the Cumberland Park location.
