Austin Bank Promotes New, Welcomes Brown and Warrick

October 28, 2021

Seth New has been promoted to vice president and network support manager at Jacksonville-based Austin Bank. With 22 years of IT experience, he has been with the bank for the past six years overseeing many vital applications and teams within the technology department. New is a graduate of Texas State Technical College. He volunteers with several ministries through his church, New Beginnings Baptist Church in Longview.

Dustin “Dusty” Brown has joined Austin Bank as vice president and relationship manager in the bank’s Nacogdoches office. He began his banking career at Commercial Bank of Texas in 2000 where he served as a teller, customer service representative, branch supervisor, credit analyst and commercial lender. He then spent one year as market president for UBank. Brown earned his BA degree in finance and an MBA degree in management from Stephen F. Austin University. Active in his community, he is a director for The Helping House, a committee member and sales chair for the Pineywoods Fair and past president of the Nacogdoches Jaycees. Due to construction in the Nacogdoches office, Brown will be working temporarily out of Austin Bank’s Garrison location until he joins the lending team in Nacogdoches.

Austin Bank has hired Blaine Warrick to serve as vice president and commercial lender in its Oak Forest location in Longview. He joins the bank with 13 years of banking experience. He served for five years with Chase Bank as a relationship manager and small-business specialist and eight years were spent with Texas Bank and Trust as a credit analyst, portfolio manager and commercial lender. Warrick earned his BBA degree in accounting from Henderson State University. He is also a 2020 graduate of Leadership Longview. Active in his community, Warrick is treasurer for the Asbury House Child Enrichment Center and volunteers for multiple nonprofit organizations, including The Great Texas Balloon Race, Rotary Club and Young Professionals of Longview.
