American National Bank & Trust Names Korbuly Chief Financial Officer, Promotes Andrews to Chief Operating Officer

September 13, 2021

Wichita Falls-based American National Bank & Trust recently made two key executive leadership appointments.

Craig KorbulyCraig Korbuly, whose career in finance spans more than 35 years, has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer. A Richardson native who grew up in Tarrant County, he manages the bank’s financial decisions, reporting and regulatory compliance efforts.

“I relish the opportunity to extend the strong financial performance American National Bank & Trust consistently delivers,” Korbuly says. “The bank has earned a strong reputation for fiscal responsibility and investment in the communities we serve.”

Korbuly comes to American National Bank & Trust after serving in similar roles over the past decade with Bank of the West in Grapevine and NexBank Capital and NexBank SSB in Dallas. His experience includes 29 years in public accounting. He has been an active participant in regional accounting and finance associations, serving as chairman of the Texas Society of CPA’s financial institution committee and member of the American Institute of CPA’s peer review program. He earned his BBA degree in accounting from Texas State University. Korbuly fills the vacancy created by Blake Andrews’ promotion to chief operating officer.

Blake AndrewsBlake Andrews, who has served nearly 25 years with the bank, previously served as controller, market president and executive vice president, in addition to his most recent role as CFO. In addition to assuming COO duties, Andrews will continue to serve as American National Bank & Trust’s Wichita Falls market president. He previously worked as an audit manager at Mathis West Huffines & Co. PC in Wichita Falls.

“As reporting requirements become more complex, I look forward to working with all departments to strengthen our accounting procedures and internal controls throughout the bank,” Andrews says.

Established in 1976, American Bank & Trust has branches in Wichita Falls, Fort Worth, Archer City, Chillicothe, Denton, Iowa City, Quanah and Flower Mound.
