Lubbock-based Peoples Bank has hired Brett Stewart to serve as market president for the bank’s newest location in Frisco. The hiring was announced by Matthew Knies, North Texas market president. The Frisco location currently operates as a loan production office with plans to convert it to a full-service bank.
Stewart has been in banking for 18 years, serving in a number of commercial lending functions, including credit approval, investor real estate and asset-based lending. He earned his BBA degree from Concordia University. He also received an accounting degree from the University of Houston.
Established in 1999, Peoples Bank operates 12 branches, plus its new LPO in Frisco.
