Farmers Branch-based TIB–The Independent BankersBank NA recently announced the following officer promotions:
Tina Jourdan was promoted to senior vice president/Bank Secrecy Act officer. One of TIB’s original 13 employees, she joined the bank two weeks prior to its official opening in 1982. She has served in numerous roles throughout the bank, from operations clerk to eventually overseeing the bank’s considerable cash letter operations to her current role as Bank Secrecy Act officer. Jourdan began her four-decade banking career in 1981 as a filing clerk for the former Republic Bank in Dallas.
Matthew Ayers was promoted to senior vice president/compliance and risk. He joined TIB in 2017 after having served for eight years with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., both in California and Texas. He earned a BS degree from the University of Arizona.
Paula Edwards was promoted to senior vice president/mortgage operations manager. She joined TIB in 2016. Her banking/mortgage career spans more than 25 years and includes experience in virtually every aspect of mortgage operations.
Kyle Garner was promoted to senior vice president/director of internal audit. He re-joined TIB in 2000 after having served with the company’s loan-review service from 1988 to 1996. In all, Garner has been with TIB and/or its subsidiaries for 29 years. He earned BS degrees in both accounting and mathematics from Oklahoma Christian College.
Don Grossart was promoted to senior vice president/secondary marketing manager—TIB Mortgage. He joined TIB in 2008 and has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. He earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Colorado.
