Texas Republic Bank Announces Recent Officer Promotions

August 28, 2020

David Baty, president and CEO of Frisco-based Texas Republic Bank, has announced recent officer promotions.

Andrew Donaldson has been promoted from credit analyst to loan officer. He started at Texas Republic Bank in 2015 as an intern while attending school at Texas A&M University. He joined the bank as a credit analyst after he graduated with a degree in finance. During his tenure, he has conducted a significant amount of residential real estate market research and done extensive analysis on commercial real estate projects and commercial and industrial lending. In addition to banking, Donaldson has been closely involved with The Big Event, a service organization that seeks to give back to the Bryan/College Station communities. He has filled several roles for that organization, including serving as a group leader who organized and executed community service projects for local residents in need.

Niki Perkins, CAMS, CRCM has joined Texas Republic Bank as vice president and compliance/BSA officer. Her career in banking spans two decades, serving much of that in compliance, BSA, AML and OFAC roles most recently at Landmark Bank. Perkins took the lead in a community reinvestment project by creating “MoneyWorks,” a financial literacy program that was used in 10 Dallas area schools where she also spoke to numerous classrooms about various aspects of banking.

Miguel Interiano has joined Texas Republic Bank as vice president and treasury management officer. He is a career banker with 28 years of experience comprised primarily of operations and treasury management, and has served on the diversity council for Amegy Bank. Both he and his wife contribute to the New Beginnings Center in Garland, which assists victims of domestic violence. They are also actively involved with Dallas Pets Alive and Paws In The City.

Established in 1891, Texas Republic Bank, is a $310-million-asset bank with branches in Frisco, Richardson and Quanah, as well as a loan production officer in Melissa.
