Louisiana-based Origin Bank Welcomes Klein, Merritt and Reily to Dallas Team

John KleinChoudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has hired three banking professionals to join its team in North Texas.

John Klein joins Origin Bank as a relationship manager at its Preston Financial Center in Dallas. He has more than 21 years of experience in banking, specializing in real estate, middle-market and small-business lending. Klein earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Texas and an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University. He serves on the foundation board of directors as a member of the Church of the Incarnation.

Caroline MerrittCaroline Merritt serves as a commercial portfolio manager II at Origin Bank’s Dallas Financial Center. She brings more than five years of experience, specializing in middle-market commercial and industrial lending. A certified public accountant, Merritt earned a BBA degree from the University of Mississippi and her MBA degree from Mercer University. She is an active member of the Cary Council nonprofit organization, as well as the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Mark H. Reily is a regional credit officer at the bank’s Dallas Financial Center. He has more than 46 years of banking industry experience, specializing in working with Mark Reilyhigh-net-worth individuals and families, producing and managing financial portfolios and evaluating credit risks for customers.

“John, Caroline and Mark each bring valuable expertise to our growing team and strengthen our ability to serve our customers in the Dallas market,” notes Warrie Birdwell, North Texas regional president.

Established in 1912, Origin Bank operates more than 57 locations in Dallas/Fort Worth, East Texas, Houston, North Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
