Texas Capital President and CEO Holmes Confirmed as Chairman of the Board

nameOn April 15, Texas Capital Bancshares Inc., the parent company of Dallas-based Texas Capital Bank, announced that Rob C. Holmes, president and chief executive officer, was confirmed as chairman of the board of directors at the conclusion of the company’s 2025 annual meeting of stockholders. Holmes, who has served as president, CEO and director on the board since 2021, was unanimously elected to this position by the board in January.

Bob Stallings, who served as chairman since 2023, has officially transitioned into the role of lead independent director.

“I want to thank outgoing Chairman Bob Stallings for his dedication and significant contributions to Texas Capital over the past two years,” Holmes says. “I do not take the responsibilities of this position lightly; it is a distinct honor to serve in this capacity for Texas Capital, and I look forward to building on the firm’s many successes along with our employees.”

Established in 1998, Texas Capital Bank operates offices in Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth.
