Members of the Texas Bankers Association (TBA) are gathering in Dallas, May 20–22, for the organization’s 141st Annual Convention, being held at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. With the theme that touts the Lone Star State as the “Land of Opportunity—America’s New Financial Capital,” the group has a full slate of education sessions, featured speakers, exhibits and networking opportunities to make the event enlightening, entertaining and fruitful.
Special events at the TBA Convention will include a golf tournament at Hackberry Creek Country Club, an awards luncheon to honor TBA’s 2026 Cornerstone and LiFE Award recipients, a luncheon the following day to celebrate 50-year Bankers and TBA Emerging Leaders, regulatory roundtables and the TBA Chairman’s Dinner and Bankers’ Bash, featuring country music star Tracy Lawrence.
Featured speakers at the event will include:
- Keynote Speaker: Tim Tebow, entrepreneur, college football analyst for ESPN and SEC Network, author of six New York Times bestsellers and founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation—dedicated to bringing faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need. Prior to his current endeavors, Tebow was an NFL quarterback, two-time NCAAF national champion, Heisman Trophy winner and College Football Hall of Fame inductee.
- Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Under his leadership, Texas has become the eighth-largest economy in the world and has won the Governor’s Cup for job creation and business expansion 14 years in a row.
