Texas Bank and Trust Hires Roddy as Senior Network Engineer and Perez as Banking Officer

July 12, 2023

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust announced two new hires in July.

Jesse Roddy has joined the bank in its technology division as assistant vice president and senior network engineer in Longview. He has 15 years of experience in the service provider space, with a focus on point-to-point, internet access and telephony services. He holds an associate degree in WAN technology from Tyler Junior College. Roddy is a strong supporter of Autism Speaks and the annual Tyler Run for Autism, both of which promote autism awareness and acceptance.

Julia Perez has joined the staff of Texas Bank and Trust as a banking officer and portfolio manager at its Flower Mound location. She has worked in the financial services industry since 2015, with a focus on increasing her skills in accounting, business/financial analytics, strategic planning, project development and team building. She holds a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship and an MBA degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce. Perez is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Financial Women in Texas and serves as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
