Sparks, Jordan, Anders and Knox Promoted at Guaranty Bank & Trust

November 2, 2022

Mount Pleasant-based Guaranty Bank & Trust recently announced four promotions:

Renee Sparks has been promoted to senior paralegal. She joined the bank in 1997. According to a bank press release, “While she has been functioning at the senior paralegal level for some time now—fielding increasingly complex legal-related questions in her unruffled way—it is great to see her recognized for her hard work, dedication and commitment to Guaranty Bank & Trust.”

Zac Jordan has been promoted to senior vice president/portfolio manager. He joined the wealth management and trust group at the bank in 2021. Prior to joining Guaranty Bank & Trust, he spent more than eight years in the banking industry. Jordan is responsible for all aspects of the investment management process for fiduciary accounts. He develops, monitors and implements customized investment solutions for clients, ensuring their portfolios are aligned with client financial goals. He received his BBA degree in finance from the Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business.

Amanda Anders has been promoted to vice president/commercial lender at the bank’s Conroe location. On the Guaranty team since 2018, she has been instrumental in the bank’s growth since the Conroe location opened. “Her desire to take care of customers while devoting herself to our community is truly inspirational,” the company notes.

Russ Knox has been promoted to Lakeway market president. He has played an instrumental part in the bank’s success in the greater Austin market since joining Guaranty in 2019. “His natural leadership and commitment to customers and other team members within the organization have been fantastic, really aligning with the long-term culture of the bank. We are thrilled to have Russ leading our Lakeway market and look forward to a strong future with him leading the market,” the bank notes in a press release.

Established in 1913, Guaranty Bank & Trust operates 33 banking offices across Texas.
