Security National Bank of Texas Names Ward Director of Wealth Management

September 5, 2020

Gary WardGary Ward has been named director of wealth management for Omaha, Nebraska-based Security National Bank. He serves in the Dallas branch, advising clients on trust and probate administration, estate planning and investment management. Prior to joining Security National Bank, Ward served on the high-net-worth team at J.P. Morgan Private Banking for more than 10 years. As the executive director and senior trust officer, he assisted clients with trusts and estates, financial advising/management and tax/legal requirements. Following J.P. Morgan, Ward served as a trust and estate officer at Cadence Bank.

Ward received an MBA degree from the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University and a juris doctorate degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. He serves on the board of directors for the Collin County Bar Association Estate Planning Council and is board certified in estate planning and probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Established in 1964, Security National Bank operates 15 branches in Nebraska, as well as its first Texas location, which opened in Dallas’ The Union in June.
