Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

March 28–April 3, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, to acquire First Bank & Trust, based in Seymour.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the southwest corner of Bay Area Blvd. and Moonrock Dr. in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Cadence Bank National Association, based in Atlanta, Georgia, to establish a branch at 901 S. MoPac Expwy., Bldg. V, Suites 250 and 260 in Austin.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Bedford, has applied to establish a branch at 3030 Matlock Rd. in Arlington.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1717 W. 6th St., Ste. 110, in Austin.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Commercial Bank of Texas National Association, based in Nacogdoches, to acquire a branch from Texas Bank and Trust Co., based in Longview. The branch is located at 102 W. Columbia in San Augustine.

The OCC reports that The City National Bank of Sulphur Springs, based in Sulphur Springs, has applied to establish a branch at 220 E. Jefferson St. in Pittsburg.

March 14–20, 2021

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, has applied to establish a branch at 6445 FM 1463 Rd. in Katy.

The OCC reports that Commercial Bank of Texas National Association, based in Nacogdoches, has relocated a branch from 1873 W. Frank St. in Lufkin to 1523 W. Frank Ave. in Lufkin.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Zions Bancorporation National Association, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, to relocate a branch from 1100 Louisiana in Houston to 815 Walker in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Bank, based in Henderson, to establish a branch at 1189 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy. in Van Alstyne.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Bedford, has applied to establish a branch at 3030 Matlock Rd. in Arlington.

The FRBD reports that Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to merge with First Bank & Trust, based in Seymour, and to retain the acquired facilities as branch offices.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, to establish a branch at 3630 W. University Dr. in McKinney and at 4001 W. Matlock Rd. in Arlington.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Texas Republic Bank National Association, based in Frisco, to establish a branch at 1212 S. Preston Rd., Ste. 100, in Celina.

The TDB reports that Southwest Bank, based in Odessa, has applied to establish a branch at 4715 N. Midland Dr. in Midland.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Henderson, has applied to establish a branch at 1189 W. Van Alstyne Pkwy. in Van Alstyne.

The TDB reports that Comerica Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish branches at the corner of Preston and John Hickman in Frisco and at 5647 W. Lovers Ln. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has applied to relocate a branch from 2100 McKinney Ave., Ste. 1200, in Dallas, to 2101 Cedar Springs Rd., Ste. 1000, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that Newfirst National Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to relocate a branch from 50 Sugar Creek Center Blvd., Ste. 100, in Sugar Land to 16554 Creekbend Dr., Ste. 150, in Sugar Land.

The OCC reports that Lone Star Capital Bank National Association, based in San Antonio, has applied to acquire Business Bank of Texas National Association, based in Austin.

The TDB and the FRBD report that Peoples Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to acquire First Bank & Trust, based in Seymour.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of Brenham National Association, based in Brenham, to establish a. branch at 9000 Hwy. 290 E in Chappell Hill.

The OCC reports that Cadence Bank National Association, based in Atlanta, Georgia, has applied to establish a branch at 901 S. MoPac Exwy., Bldg. V, Ste. 250 and 260, in Austin.
