Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

January 28–February 3, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that Home Bank NA, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, has established a branch at 19415 Gulf Fwy. in Webster.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, to establish the following branches: in the HEB at 24924 Morton Ranch Rd. in Katy and in the HEB at 16000 Woodland Hills Dr. in Humble.

The OCC reports that Investar Bank NA, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has relocated a branch from 24 E. Greenway Plaza in Houston to 20 Greenway Plaza, Ste. 120, in Houston.

The TDB reports that United Texas Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 10803 Preston Rd. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 708 W. Rosedale St. in Fort Worth. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank to establish a branch at 3820 Belt Line Rd. in Addison.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Greater State Bank, based in McAllen, to establish a branch at 2107 S. McColl Rd. in Edinburg.

The TDB reports that CapTex Bank, based in Fort Worth, has applied to establish a branch in the southeast quadrant of Texas Hwy. 121 and Milrany Ln. in Melissa.

The OCC reports that Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, has applied to establish a branch at 1620 W. Church St. in Livingston.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 3820 Belt Line Rd. in Addison.

Conversions

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Third Coast Bank SSB, based in Humble, to convert to a state charter under the name Third Coast Bank.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that TXN Bank, based in Hondo, has relocated its home office from 1502 Ave. M in Hondo to 103 19th St. in Hondo.

Branches

The OCC reports that The First National Bank of Sonora, based in Sonora, has applied to establish a branch at 205 Exchange Blvd. in Hutto.

The TDB reports that Greater State Bank, based in McAllen, has applied to establish a branch at 2107 S. McColl Rd. in Edinburg.
