Oklahoma-based Valliance Bank Taps Kerr as Fort Worth Market President

April 13, 2022

Chad KerrOklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Valliance Bank has hired Chad Kerr to serve as Fort Worth market president. He joins the bank with a diverse banking background, as well as more than 19 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Valliance Bank, he served as senior vice president for Southside Bank in Fort Worth, specializing in serving commercial and industrial clients, as well as small-business owners.

Kerr is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and earned a BBA degree from Texas Tech University. He serves as past president and board member of The Ladder Alliance, whose mission is to provide women victims of domestic violence and low-income women with the tools to lead self-reliant, independent and successful lives. Kerr also serves with The Near Southside, a roughly 1,400-acre district located just south of downtown Fort Worth. The Near Southside is growing following the principles of smart urban development, sustainability, a mix of uses, walkable and bike-able streets and truly livable pre-suburban neighborhood design.

“Chad is deeply rooted in the community of Fort Worth and is highly respected as a banker and community advocate,” says Alicia Wade, president and chief operating officer. “The board and I know he is the perfect fit for our relationship-driven culture that seeks to provide an excellent client experience.”

Established in 2004, Valliance Bank has Oklahoma branches in downtown Oklahoma City and Norman, as well as Texas-based locations in McKinney and Fort Worth.
