Oklahoma-based Blue Sky Bank Hires Shaw as East Dallas Market President

Chris ShawPawhuska, Oklahoma-based Blue Sky Bank has hired Chris Shaw to serve as East Dallas market president. He joins the team with more than 25 years of experience in commercial, industrial and business banking.

Before joining Blue Sky Bank, Shaw was with b1Bank for more than eight years, capping his tenure there as Dallas market president. Prior to that, he was executive vice president/Dallas commercial manager at Green Bank. Earlier in his career, Shaw worked for BB&T as East Texas market president, Independent Bank as market president and as a commercial lender at Colonial Bank and Heritage Bank.

Shaw earned his BBA degree in marketing with a minor in real estate, as well as an MBA degree, from East Texas A&M University. He is also a graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Active in his community, Shaw serves on the finance boards of the City of Heath, WREM Literacy and Mesquite ISD Education Foundation. He previously served on the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce board and Dallas Home Builders Association board, and was the planning and zoning commissioner for the City of Fate.

Established in 1905, Blue Sky Bank operate 15 banking offices in Oklahoma and Texas.

Oklahoma-based Blue Sky Bank Hires Shaw as East Dallas Market President
