Louisiana-based Investar Bank Rings Nasdaq Closing Bell in Celebration of 20 Years of Service

September 1, 2026

On August 24, members of the leadership team at Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based Investar Bank NA rang the Nasdaq Closing Bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York City’s Times Square. The ceremonial bell ringing marks a significant milestone for Investar Bank as it celebrates 20 years of serving customers, supporting communities and building relationships across its markets. The bank operates 10 banking offices in Texas.

“Ringing the Nasdaq Closing Bell is an incredible honor and a meaningful moment for everyone at Investar,” says John D’Angleo, president and CEO. “For 20 years, our success has been driven by our people and the relationships we have built with our customers and communities. We are proud of our history and excited about the opportunities ahead.”

The Nasdaq Closing Bell ceremony gives Investar Bank an opportunity to recognize the associates, customers, shareholders and communities that have played a role in the bank’s journey over the past two decades.

Established in 2006, Investar Bank has grown from a community bank in Louisiana into a financial institution serving customers across Louisiana, Texas and Alabama with 36 branches. The bank reported total assets of approximately $3.9 billion as of June 30, 2026.
