Senior Vice President/Senior Relationship Manager at Tolleson Wealth Management in Dallas

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall credit quality of a loan portfolio, consumer, residential mortgage and commercial lending
  • Provide oversight of credit underwriting and documentation of new and renewing loans
  • Coordinate all aspects of a loan request, including gathering of data and working with credit analysts/underwriters, loan documentation specialists and loan operations team
  • Provide leadership/mentorship to employees associated with the lending function
  • Adhere to compliance with all regulatory guidelines
  • Structure, negotiate and manage a complex lending portfolio, including loan agreement monitoring and management
  • Perform all other functions of relationship management/client service, including loan and deposit origination, maintenance and retention of portfolios of clients
  • Oversee a full range of managerial duties for the loan review, compliance and credit analysis functions, including adherence to credit policies and practices of the organization and applicable regulatory and governmental agencies
  • Develop and service comprehensive personal financial relationships within the ultra-high-net-worth market
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and interact well with all other personnel and lines of business within Tolleson Wealth Management
  • Must actively represent Tolleson Wealth Management and Tolleson Private Bank in the community

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Must consent to and have favorable consumer report, background check and drug/alcohol test
  • Bachelor’s degree required, finance or accounting major
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership responsibility and work experience in the banking industry, most specifically as a lender or similar role
  • Experience working in the community, regional and/or private bank
  • General knowledge and understanding of private client/personal financial services industry preferred
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills—can effectively navigate sensitive and complex conversations with clients and prospects
  • Comprehensive banking background in private bank lending and loan portfolio management
  • Desire to work in a rapidly growing business with an extremely high degree of customer service expectations
  • In-depth knowledge of the banking industry in general and private banking in particular
  • Must have previous business development experience
