Experienced Commercial Lender | American Bank of Commerce | Lubbock, Texas

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to work as a Business Banker/Commercial Lender at our Lubbock 50th Street Banking Center.

A Business Banker is active in the community and works in a professional work environment. They will be responsible for soliciting and servicing a variety of commercial loans and also interview applicants and recommend approval of applications for loans. A success Business Banker will follow through on borrower needs and analyze applicant financial status and credit to determine feasibility of granting the loan. A sincere and conscientious approach while maintaining compliance to policy is needed to be successful.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Market bank products to individuals and firms, promoting bank services that may meet customer’s needs.
  • Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
  • Meet applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
  • Work with clients to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals.
  • Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as other services.
