This is an excellent career opportunity for a dynamic Community Bank President to step in as part of the succession plan to transition to President/CEO. This visionary will be able to position the bank successfully for the future while being responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization. The President will provide leadership, planning and oversight of all activities in accordance with policies as established by the board of directors and ensure the financial stability commensurate with the best interests of the organization, employees, shareholders and customers.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, or related field (MBA or similar advanced degree preferred).
- A minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience in banking with a strong preference for experience in a leadership role within a community bank.
- In-depth understanding of financial management, lending practices and regulatory requirements in the banking industry.
- Thorough understanding of the banking industry’s operations, operating environment and risks.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and community engagement skills.
- Demonstrates an ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, community leaders and stakeholders.
- Computer software skills, including but are not limited to, the Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Excel, Outlook email and calendar, PowerPoint, Teams
