Guaranty Bank & Trust Hires Cottingham for SBA Business Development in Houston

Elfis CottinghamElfis Cottingham has been hired by Mount Pleasant-based Guaranty Bank & Trust to serve as vice president/SBA business development officer in the Houston area. She has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry with SBA commercial business development, packaging, closing, portfolio management, liquidation, and credit administration and loan review. Elfis has earned numerous certifications through the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders and commercial bank credit training.

Elfis earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Houston. She is involved with her community through her work with the Kids, Cows and More program, Chamber of Commerce participation, membership in the University of Houston-Clear Lake Alumni Association and as a panelist with the U.S. SBA Houston District Office.

Established in 1913, Guaranty Bank & Trust operates more than 30 branches in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, East Texas, Central Texas and the Houston region.
