Beadle, Bearden and Luke Promoted at Texas Bank and Trust

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust recently announced some executive promotions.

Shannon BeadleShannon Beadle has been promoted to executive vice president and director of human resources. She has been in the bank’s human resources division since 2010. She is a graduate of the bank’s 2012 Leadership Class and 2017 Corporate University, as well as the Independent Bankers Association of Texas’ Bank Operations Institute. A Louisiana native, Beadle earned a BSBA degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and completed the Human Resource Management School through the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a PHR certification through the HR Certification Institute and a SHRM-CP certification through the Society for Human Resource Management. Beadle serves on the Texas Shakespeare Festival Foundation board and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Longview.

Chris BeardenChris Bearden has been promoted to executive vice president and chief accounting officer. He has been with Texas Bank and Trust for more than five years. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Westbound Bank in Katy. Bearden holds a BA degree in social sciences from Harding University, an MA degree in political science from the University of Arkansas, an executive MBA degree in banking and finance from Sam Houston State University, and is currently participating in the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed CPA by the State of Texas.

Scottie LuckScottie Luke is now executive vice president and chief risk officer. He joined Texas Bank and Trust in 2014 and for the past three years has served as chief risk officer. He holds a BAs degree in finance from Texas A&M University–Commerce. He is a certified community bank compliance officer, a certified community bank internal auditor and in 2019 completed the training and examinations required to be a certified fraud examiner. Lucke is a volunteer with United Way of Smith County and a participant in Leadership Tyler.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 20 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

Beadle, Bearden and Luke Promoted at Texas Bank and Trust

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust recently announced some executive promotions.
