Bank of Texas Taps Cherry as Private Wealth Team Lead

February 11, 2021

Deirdre CherryDeirdre Cherry has joined Fort Worth-based Bank of Texas as private wealth team lead. She is responsible for overseeing sales and service processes, and personally working with some of the largest customer relationships in the bank’s private wealth division. As a banking executive for more than 20 years, Cherry joins Bank of Texas having previously served as chief credit officer of Gateway First Bank in Dallas. Prior to that, she served in wealth positions at Bank of the West in San Francisco, Bank of America in New York and San Francisco, Deutsche Bank in San Francisco and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York and San Francisco.

Cherry earned her BS degree in economics from the University of Santa Clara in California, along with an MBA degree in finance from Pace University in New York. She enjoys volunteering for food banks and animal rescues and looks forward to doing more in the community throughout Tarrant and surrounding counties.

Bank of Texas is a subsidiary of BOK Financial Corp., one of the largest bank holding companies in the U.S. BOKF NA, one of its holdings, operates seven banking divisions: Bank of Albuquerque, Bank of Arizona, Bank of Arkansas, Bank of Oklahoma, Bank of Texas, Mobank and Colorado State Bank and Trust.
