Austin Bank Elects Seay Senior Vice President and Loan Servicing/Special Assets Manager

December 1, 2022

Shannon SeayJeff Austin III, chairman of Jacksonville-based Austin Bank, recently announced the promotion of Shannon Seay to senior vice president and loan servicing/special assets manager. She oversees the special assets department and supervises real estate appraisal ordering and review.

Seay joined Austin Bank in 2007 as a junior credit analyst, bringing with her five years of previous banking experience. She was promoted to banking officer in 2011, assistant vice president in 2012 and vice president in 2016.

Seay attended Kilgore College and the University of Texas–Tyler and holds an MBA degree from LeTourneau University. In addition, she has completed the Austin Bank Leadership Program, Community Bankers Lending School and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. A lifelong resident of Longview, Seay serves as treasurer for Newgate Mission.

Established in 1900, Austin Bank operates branches in 36 East Texas locations within 26 cities and 14 counties.
