VeraBank Welcomes Texas Representative Metcalf as Business Development Officer in Conroe

October 2, 2025

Will MetcalfHenderson-based VeraBank has hired Will Metcalf to serve as business development officer at its Conroe branch. Joining the team in July, he brings 18 years of experience in the banking industry. A longtime Conroe resident and public servant, Metcalf has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2015 and remains actively involved in both state and local initiatives.

“His deep roots in the community, combined with his passion for helping others and his proven leadership, make him an exceptional addition to our team,” says Joel Jackson, senior executive vice president, chief lending officer and Southwest regional chair. “We look forward to the positive impact he will bring to our customers and the Conroe area.”

Established in 1930, VeraBank serves 20 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with 41 branches.
