On August 21, TRB Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank, celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters on at 6710 W. Expwy. 83, Ste. 201A, in Harlingen. The new facility expands TRB Insurance’s capacity to serve clients across Texas, reflecting the rapid growth of the division since its launch in 2022.
Community leaders, business partners, TRB executives and board members gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Jamie Brown-Rosas, speaking on behalf of Texas Regional Bank’s leadership team, highlighted the event as a celebration of growth and continued investment in Harlingen, a sentiment echoed by Ryan Newman, TRB Insurance president. Harlingen Chamber of Commerce “Red Coats” joined the celebration and Javier de Leon, Chamber president and CEO, praised the company’s long-standing commitment to the community.
“The opening of our new headquarters reflects both the growth of TRB Insurance and Texas Regional Bank’s vision of building a diversified financial services company that supports customers at every stage of life,” Newman says. “The Valley is our home, and we are proud to make Harlingen the headquarters of TRB Insurance.”
Established in 1987, Texas Regional Bank operates 34 branches across Texas.
