Texas Banking Associations Join Efforts in Soliciting Donations in Support of Uvalde

June 2, 2022

In the wake of the recent tragic events at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, bankers in the Lone Star State and across America are committed to supporting the families of victims, as well as impacted educators and first responders. The Texas Bankers Association and Independent Bankers Association of Texas have united to provide support via the Uvalde Community Response Fund. In coordination with the First State Bank of Uvalde and other local community banks, the fund will direct all proceeds to comfort and support the families impacted. Contributions to the Uvalde Community Response Fund should be made via PayPal here.

Additionally, the First State Bank of Uvalde has established the Robb Elementary School Memorial Fund to support families. You can contribute to the fund at any First State Bank branch. Checks can be made payable to the “Robb School Memorial Fund” and mailed to PO Box 1908, Uvalde, TX 78802. Zelle contributions can be made to [email protected]. If Zelle asks for a first and last name, please use the following—first name: Robb; and last name: School. For more information on this initiative, call 830/356-2273.

Thank you for providing comfort to the community of Uvalde in their time of great need.
