August 24–30, 2025

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Huntington National Bank, based in Columbus, Ohio, to acquire Veritex Community Bank, based in Dallas.

The OCC reports that Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, has applied to acquire Citizens State Bank, based in Roma. In addition, the TDB reports that Citizens State Bank has applied to merge into Texas National Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a branch at 10241 North Fwy. in Houston. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas to establish a branch at 2401 S. Canal St. in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank, based in Henderson, has established a branch at 7680 Preston Rd. in Frisco.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by West Texas State Bank, based in Snyder, to establish a branch at 3004 Slide Rd. in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that Texas First Bank, based in Texas City, has applied to establish a branch at 19940 Eva St. in Montgomery.

The TDB reports that Austin County State Bank, based in Bellville, has applied to establish a branch at 16215 Fordtran/Hwy. 159 in Industry.

The OCC reports that SouthState Bank NA, based in Winter Haven, Florida, has established a branch at 1409 Botham Jean Blvd. in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the southeast corner of Woodridge Dr. and Gulf Fwy. in Houston. The agency also reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank has applied to establish a branch at the northwest corner of Fort Worth Hwy. (U.S. 180) and N. Oakridge Dr. in Hudson Oaks.

The OCC reports that Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has applied to establish a branch at 2761 E. Interstate 20 in Hudson Oaks.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by PlainsCapital Bank, based in University Park, to establish a branch at 400 South Padre Island Dr., Ste. 101, in Corpus Christi.

The TDB reports that Harmony Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 2021 S. 14th St., Ste. 400, in Midlothian.

The TDB reports that Security State Bank, based in Pearsall, has applied to establish a branch at 233 19th St. in Hondo.

The TDB reports that West Texas State Bank, based in Snyder, has applied to establish a branch at 3004 Slide Rd. in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that TexasBank, based in Brownwood, has applied to establish a branch at 300 W. Seventh St., Ste. 100, in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that Liberty Capital Bank, based in Addison, has applied to merge with Texas Heritage Bank, based in Boerne.

The TDB reports that Maverick Bank, based in Fort Davis, has applied to merge with Tejas Bank, based in Monahans.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Home Bank NA, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, to establish a branch at 27702 Tomball Pkwy. in Tomball.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 2121 FM 2920 in Spring.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish the following branches: 3230 W. Camp Wisdom Rd. in Dallas; 12160 East Fwy. in Houston; 3605 S. Preston Rd. in Celina; 765 Fish Creek Thoroughfare, Ste. 250, in Montgomery; 165 E. Quail Run Rd., Ste. 100, in Rockwall; 8751 W. University Dr., Ste. 100, in McKinney; and 1002 Westheimer Rd. in Houston. The agency also reports that PNC Bank has applied to relocate the following branches: from 301 This Way St. in Lake Jackson to 300 Hwy. 332 W, Ste. A, in Lake Jackson and from 15900 La Cantera Pkwy., Ste 3445, in San Antonio to 5518 N. Loop 1604 W, Ste. 105, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by North Dallas Bank & Trust Co., based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 4961 Fields Pkwy. in Frisco.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Farmers and Merchants Bank, based in De Leon, to establish a branch at the intersection of Wolf Hollow/I-20 Service Rd.) and Brock Spur in Brock.

The TDB reports that Prosperity Bank, based in El Campo, has applied to relocate a branch from 601 E. Cedar Creek Pkwy. in Seven Points to 220 E. Cedar Creek Pkwy. in Seven Points.

The TDB reports that The First State Bank, based in Louise, has applied to establish a branch at 803 N. Ave. E in Shiner.

The TDB reports that Harmony Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to relocate a branch from 1600 S. Ervay St. in Dallas to 1900 S. Ervay St. in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Powell State Bank, based in Powell, has changed its name to Producer Bank of Texas.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has established a branch at 4303 S. Clack St. in Abilene.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 1192 W. Dallas, Ste. A, in Conroe.

The TDB reports that Powell State Bank (now Producer Bank of Texas) has established a branch at 229 Dowlen Rd., Ste. C., in Beaumont.
