Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

September 22–28, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American First National Bank, based in Houston, to relocate a branch from 240 Legacy Dr., Ste. 112, in Plano to 1908 K Ave. in Plano.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 19019 IH 35 in Kyle.

The TDB reports that First State Bank, based in Gainesville, has applied to establish a branch at 3427 W. FM 120, Ste. 101, in Denison.

September 15–21, 2024

Branches

The OCC reports that Broadway National Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 8333 Douglas Ave., Ste. 100, in Dallas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Home Bank NA, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, to establish a branch at 110 Vintage Park Blvd., Ste. 100, in Houston.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish the following branches: 10718 Potranco Rd. in San Antonio and 4100 S. New Braunfels in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, to establish a branch at the southwest corner of S. Clack Rd. and Buffalo Gap Rd. in Abilene.

The OCC reports that Guaranty Bank & Trust NA, based in Mt. Pleasant, has relocated a branch from 120 W. 8th St. in Georgetown to 624 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.

The TDB reports that NBT Financial Bank, based in Fort Worth, has established a branch at 200 Shops Blvd. in Willow Park.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 18530 W. Airport Blvd. in Richmond.

The TDB reports that Southside Bank, based in Tyler, has applied to establish a branch at 3701 FM 4 in Granbury.

The OCC reports that Amarillo National Bank, based in Amarillo, has established a branch at 1700 Coulter in Amarillo.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by VeraBank NA, based in Henderson, to establish a branch at 3002 Barron Rd. in College Station.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Clear Fork Bank NA, based in Albany, to relocate a branch of First National Bank Albany/Breckenridge at 2307 E. Hubbard in Mineral Wells to 1031 E. Hubbard in Mineral Wells under the name Clear Fork Bank NA.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 18530 W. Airport Blvd. in Richmond.

The TDB reports that City Bank, based in Lubbock, has applied to relocate a branch from 100 W. Austin St. in Kermit to 210 N. Oak St. in Kermit.

The TDB reports that Sunflower Bank NA, based in Dallas, has applied to convert to a Texas state charter under the name Sunflower Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American Bank NA, based in Corpus Christi, to establish a branch at 101 N. Shoreline in Corpus Christi.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish the following branches: the northwest intersection of W. Illinois Ave. and Ludlow Dr. in Dallas and the southwest corner of W. Centerville Rd. and Broadmoor Dr. in Garland.

The OCC reports that Austin Bank NA, based in Jacksonville, has relocated a branch from 107 Old River Rd. in Montgomery to 18405 Hwy. 105 W in Montgomery.

The OCC reports that Moody National Bank, based in Galveston, has applied to relocate a branch from 400 W. 15th St. in Austin to 7900 Shoal Creek Blvd. in Austin.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Independent Bank, based in McKinney, to establish a branch at 1409 Botham Jean Blvd., Ste. 1510, in Dallas.

The TDB reports that Maverick Bank, based in Fort Davis, has established a branch at 811 9th St. in Levelland.

The TDB reports that First State Bank of Texas, based in Orange, has applied to establish a branch at 25700 I-45 N., Ste. 180, in Spring.

August 25–31, 2024

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish the following branches: 401 N. Hwy. 77, Ste. 20, in Waxahachie and 2408 McKinney Ave. in Dallas. The agency also reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America to relocate a branch from 1515 S.W. Loop 410 in San Antonio to Loop 410 and Hwy. 151 in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish a branch at the southwest corner of S. Clack Rd. and Buffalo Gap Rd. in Abilene.

The OCC reports that Southtrust Bank NA, based in George West, has applied to establish a branch at 14090 Southwest Fwy., Ste. 220, in Sugar Land.

In addition, the OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank has applied to relocate a branch from 999 E. Basse Rd., Ste. 300, in San Antonio to E. Basse Rd. and Broadway in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish a branch at 1650 W. Maloney Ave. in Gallup, New Mexico.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by American National Bank & Trust, based in Wichita Falls, to establish a branch at 203 W. Walnut, Ste. 101, in Decatur.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by BOKF NA, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to establish a branch at 24 Waterway Ave. in The Woodlands.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has established a branch at 901 Mopac Expy. S., Ste. 100, in Austin.
