Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

September 12–18, 2021

Conversions

The TDB reports that Texas Capital Bank, based in Dallas, has completed its conversion to a state-chartered bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 3869 Maurice Ave., Ste. 101, in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank NA, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish a branch at 15701 Wallisville Rd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that Texas National Bank, based in Mercedes, has established a branch at 4345 N. Expwy. 77/83, Ste. D-800, in Brownsville.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Commercial National Bank of Brady, based in Brady, to establish a branch at 211 S. Water St. in Burnet.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish a branch at 1821 S. Valley Mills Dr. in Waco.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Independent Bank, based in McKinney, to establish a branch at 900 N. U.S. Hwy. 75 in Denison.

The TDB reports that R Bank, based in Round Rock, has applied to establish a branch at 451 University Dr. in Fort Worth.

The TDB reports that Bank of Texas, based in Midland, has applied to relocate a branch from 320 Texas Ave. in El Paso to 500 N. Mesa in El Paso.

September 5–11, 2021

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by State Bank of Texas to locate its home office from 11950 Webb Chapel Rd. in Dallas to 5101 N. O’Connor Blvd. in Irving.

Branches

The OCC reports that Austin Bank NA, based in Jacksonville, has established a branch at 26400 Kuykendahl Rd., Ste. A110, in Tomball.

August 29–September 4, 2021

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Capital Bank of Texas, based in Carrizo Springs, to merge with BAT Investments Inc., based in Austin.

The TDB reports that First United Bank, based in Dimmitt, has merged with First Bank and Trust of Childress, based in Childress.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Citizens State Bank, based in Somerville, to merge with Burton State Bank, based in Burton.

Conversions

The TDB reports that Texas Exchange Bank, based in Crowley, has applied to convert to a Texas state-chartered bank under the name Texas Exchange Bank SSB.

Branches

The OCC reports that Commercial Bank of Texas National Association, based in Nacogdoches, has established a branch at 321 N. Central Expwy., Ste. 100, in McKinney.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank and Trust Co. of Weatherford, based in Weatherford, to establish a branch at 100 Willow Bend Dr. in Willow Park.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank National Association, based in Sioux Falls, has relocated a branch from 615 Upper N. Broadway in Corpus Christi to 555 N. Carancahua St. in Corpus Christi.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to relocate a branch from 2201 Trimmer Dr. in Killeen to 901 E. Central Texas Expwy. in Killeen.

The TDB reports that Happy State Bank, based in Happy, has established a branch at 559 IH 35 in Round Rock.

The TDB reports that Grandview Bank, based in Grandview, has applied to establish a branch at 2500 SW Wilshire Blvd. in Burleson.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Somerville, has applied to acquire Burton State Bank, based in Burton.

The TDB reports that The Chasewood Bank, based in Houston, has applied to merge with MergerCo Inc., based in Houston.

Home Office Relocations

The TDB reports that WestStar Bank has relocated its home office from 500 N. Mesa in El Paso to 601 N. Mesa in El Paso.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank has relocated its home office from 500 Harwood in Bedford to 100 Crescent Ct., Ste. 575, in Dallas.

Branches

The TDB reports that Falcon International Bank, based in Laredo, has established a branch at 134 S. U.S. Hwy. 83 in Zapata.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 2051 W. Airport Frwy. in Euless.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America National Association, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 3814 E. 42nd St. in Odessa.

The OCC reports that PNC Bank National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, has applied to establish the following branches: 660 N. Main Ave. in San Antonio; 512 N. Oregon St. in El Paso; 10456 Montwood Dr. in El Paso; 407 S. Commerce St. in Harlingen; 600 Matamoros St. in Laredo; 2101 S. 10th St. in McAllen; and 800 E. Tom Landry St. in Mission.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Lone Star Capital Bank National Association, based in San Antonio, to relocate a branch from 755 E. Mulberry, Ste. 400, in San Antonio to 15142 San Pedro in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that Cadence Bank National Association, based in Atlanta, Georgia, has applied to relocate a branch from 2800 Post Oak Blvd., Ste. 3800, in Houston to 1333 W. Loop S, Ste. 100, in Houston.

August 15–21, 2021

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Commercial Bank of Texas National Association, based in Nacogdoches, to establish a branch at 321 N. Central Expwy., Ste. 100, in McKinney.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish the following branches: 3855 Lamar Ave. in Paris; 571 Walton Blvd. in Las Cruces, New Mexico; 17309 IH 30 S in Benton, Arkansas; 400 Bryant Ave. in Bryant, Arkansas; and 2004 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale, Arkansas.

The TDB reports that Texas Bank and Trust Co., based in Longview, has established a branch at 737 International Pkwy., Ste. 150, in Flower Mound.
