Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

October 23–29, 2022

Branches

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has established a branch at 7900 Woodbridge Pkwy. in Sachse.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First Financial Bank NA, based in Abilene, to establish a branch at 119 N. LHS Dr. in Lumberton. The agency also reports that it has approved applications by First Financial Bank to relocate the following branches: from 1716 Briarcrest Dr., Ste. 400, in Bryan to 2445 Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. S in College Station; and from 33 State Hwy. 75 N in Huntsville to 2506 Pine Shadows Dr. in Huntsville.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Woodforest National Bank, based in The Woodlands, to establish a branch at 2108 N. Frazier St. in Conroe.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish the following branches: 9651 Katy Fwy., Ste. 100, in Houston; and 1125 FM 544 in Wylie.

The TDB reports that First Bank, based in Burkburnett, has applied to establish a branch at 6836 Austin Center Blvd. in Austin.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Great Plains National Bank, based in Elk City, Oklahoma, to acquire Providence Bank of Texas SSB, based in Southlake.

The TDB reports that Pinnacle Bank, based in Fort Worth, has applied to acquire Crockett National Bank, based in San Antonio.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish the following branches: 6801 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler; the southeast corner of U.S. Hwy. 75 and Loy Lake Rd. (Sherman Commons) in Sherman; 2425 S. Zero St. in Fort Smith, Arkansas; and 3150 Harrison St. in Batesville, Arkansas.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has relocated a branch from 1001 Hwy. 146 S in La Porte to 1307 W. Fairmont Pkwy. in La Porte.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 114 W. 7th St., Ste. 100, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1125 FM 544 in Wylie.

The TDB reports that First Bank, based in Burkburnett, has applied to establish a branch at 6836 Austin Center Blvd. in Austin.

The TDB reports that Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, has applied to establish a branch at 10635 Louetta Rd. in Houston.

The OCC reports that Classic Bank NA, based in Cameron, has applied to establish a branch at 204 W. U.S. Hwy. 79 in Thorndale.

The OCC reports that Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has relocated a branch from 109 N. San Saba St. in San Antonio to 106 S. Saint Marys St. in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by American Bank of Commerce, based in Wolfforth, to establish a branch at 4501 114th St. in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Texas Regional Bank, based in Harlingen, to establish a branch at 1001 Congress Ave., Ste. 150, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 9651 Katy Fwy., Ste. 100, in Houston.

October 2–8, 2022

Home Offices

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to relocate its home office from 2900 Fredericksburg Rd. in San Antonio to 1777 N.E. Loop 410 in San Antonio.

Branches

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Extraco Banks NA, based in Temple, to establish a branch at 4189 State Hwy. 6 N in College Station.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The American National Bank of Texas, based in Terrell, to relocate a branch from 308 E. Renfro, Ste. 100, in Burleson, to 301 S.W. Wilshire Blvd. in Burleson.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Citizens State Bank, based in Anton, to establish a branch at 4718 S. Loop 289, Ste. 200, in Lubbock.

The TDB reports that Jefferson Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 114 W. 7th St., Ste. 100, in Austin.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1125 FM 544 in Wylie.

Mergers and Acquisitions

The OCC reports that American Bank NA, based in Corpus Christi, has completed its acquisition of TexStar National Bank, based in Universal City.

The TDB reports that Roscoe State Bank, based in Roscoe, has merged with and into Cornerstone Capital Bank SSB.

The TDB reports that Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, has completed its merger of equals with Community Bank of Texas NA, based in Beaumont.

Home Offices

The TDB reports that Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, has relocated its home office from 8727 W. Sam Houston Pkwy. N in Houston to an existing branch at 9 Greenway Plaza, Ste. 110 in Houston and is maintaining its former home office as a branch.

Branches

The TDB reports that American State Bank, based in Arp, has applied to establish a branch at 500 Dallas St., Ste. A, in Plainview.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Alliance Bank Central Texas, based in Waco, to establish a branch at 408 Hilliard Rd. in Temple.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 2831 Palmer Hwy. in Texas City. The agency also reports that Frost Bank has applied to establish a branch at 9651 Katy Frwy., Ste. 100, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Citizens State Bank, based in Anton, has applied to establish a branch at 4718 S. Loop 289, Ste. 200, in Lubbock.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Albany/Breckenridge, based in Albany, has established a branch at 2307 E. Hubbard in Mineral Wells.
