Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC).

September 10–16, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that Home Bank NA, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, has applied to establish the following branches: 19415 Gulf Fwy. in Webster and 5940 Fairmont Pkwy. in Pasadena.

The OCC reports that Citizens National Bank, based in Cameron, has applied to establish a branch at 1711 Central Texas Expwy., Ste, 105, in Killeen.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has applied to establish the following branches: 5010 N. 95th Ave. in Glendale, Arizona, and 8301 Rogers Ave. in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Coleman County State Bank, based in Coleman, to establish a branch at 610 S. Abe St., Ste. D, in San Angelo.

The TDB reports that Farmers and Merchants Bank, based in De Leon, has applied to establish a branch at 508 E. Central in Comanche.

The TDB reports that First Community Bank, Corpus Christi, has applied to establish a branch at 1115 E. Sinton St., Lot 1, in Sinton.

The TDB reports that Freedom Bank, based in Alamo, has applied to establish a branch at 4120 N. I-69C in Edinburg.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1912 Parker Rd. in Carrollton.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Wells Fargo Bank NA, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to establish a branch at 1133 University Dr. in College Station.

The OCC reports that West Texas National Bank, based in Midland, has applied to establish a branch at 300 IH-27 in Plainview.

The OCC reports that Extraco Banks NA, based in Temple, has applied to relocate a branch of Guaranty Bank and Trust Co., Member Extraco Banks, from 8th and Main St. in Gatesville to 2501 S. Hwy 36 in Gatesville.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by TexasBank, based in Brownwood, to establish a branch at 139 College Park Dr. in Weatherford.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 10739 N. Freeway, Ste. A, in Houston.

The TDB reports that Texas Partners Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 1922 State Hwy. 46 W in New Braunfels.

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has applied to establish the following branches: the northwest corner of West Little York Rd. and N Houston Rosslyn Rd. in Houston and the northwest corner of McPherson Blvd. and Summer Creek Dr. in Fort Worth.

The OCC reports that National Bank & Trust, based in La Grange, has applied to establish a branch at 2500 Airline Rd. in Corpus Christi.

The TDB reports that TexasBank, based in Brownwood, has applied to establish a branch at 139 College Park Dr. in Weatherford.

The TDB reports that Global One Bank has applied to relocate its home office from 5060 Main St. in Chappell Hill to an existing branch at 1400 Blalock Rd. in Houston and maintain 5060 Main St. in Chappell Hill as a branch.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by USAA Federal Savings Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish a branch at 10750 McDermott Fwy. in San Antonio.

The OCC reports that it has approved applications by First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, to establish the following branches: 1607 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona; and 2004 S. Pleasant St. in Springdale, Arkansas.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Karnes County National Bank of Karnes City, based in Karnes City, to establish a branch at 1600 Hwy. 181 Frontage Rd. NE in Beeville.

The OCC reports that Legend Bank NA, based in Bowie, has applied to relocate a branch from 502 N. Center St. in Bonham to 2228 N. Center St. in Bonham.

The TDB reports that Independent Bank, based in McKinney, has applied to establish a branch at 2722 W. Bitters Rd., Ste. 126/128, in San Antonio.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has applied to establish a branch at 10739 N. Freeway, Ste. A, in Houston.

The TDB reports that R Bank, based in Round Rock, has relocated a branch from 1103A Williams Dr. in Georgetown to 405 S. Austin Ave. in Georgetown.
