PNC Bank Market Executive Sudduth to Lead United Way of Greater Houston Annual Campaign

October 2, 2025

Julie SudduthOn September 30, United Way of Greater Houston announced that Julie Young Sudduth, executive vice president and regional president for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based PNC Bank in Houston, has been named chair of the 2025–26 annual community campaign, a major fundraising effort that supports a wide range of community services helping neighbors find their pathway to financial stability. In this role, she will engage with corporate partners and philanthropists throughout the community, highlighting the impact of United Way’s work in Greater Houston and broadening the organization’s base of support.

“For many hardworking families in our region, simply covering the essentials, like food, housing and utilities, is already a struggle. When costs rise or an unexpected crisis hits, the financial strain can be overwhelming,” notes Amanda McMillian, president and CEO of United Way of Greater Houston. “That’s why we’re so grateful to have Julie serving as a volunteer leader. She truly understands the challenges facing our community and will put her talents to work in building even greater support for our mission.”

Sudduth currently serves on United Way of Greater Houston’s board of trustees as a member of the executive committee. At PNC Bank, she is responsible for the bank’s expansion in the Greater Houston region. Prior to joining PNC Bank, Sudduth was executive vice president for IberiaBank, for which she built and led the syndication divisions for nearly 10 years.

Sudduth also serves as governance chair of the Discovery Green Conservancy board and has previously served as the board chair and finance and audit committee chair. She is a member of the endowment committee of the Good Samaritan Foundation, for which she previously served on the board of trustees and the executive committee. Additionally, she serves on the Rice Kinder Institute advisory board, is a board member of the Museum of Fine Arts and serves on the board of the Greater Houston Partnership, for which she is also a member of the executive committee and chair of the membership committee. She previously served on the board, executive committee and strategic planning committee of Ronald McDonald House Houston, the St. John’s School alumni board and Houston Methodist Young Leaders for Medicine.

Established in 2010, PNC Bank NA operates more than 2,300 branches across the U.S., including 311 branches in Texas.
