Ozona Bank Names Kruse Chief Lending Officer

April 3, 2026

Lance KruseOn March 23, Ozona Bank announced the promotion of Lance Kruse to chief lending officer. He has been a member of the Ozona Bank team for more than 10 years, during which he has demonstrated strong lending expertise, leadership and a commitment to serving customers and communities across the bank’s footprint. His contributions have played a key role in strengthening client engagement and supporting the bank’s continued growth.

With more than 22 years of experience in the banking industry, Kruse began his career as an analyst and has built a comprehensive understanding of financial services and lending practices. He is a 2025 graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

“Ozona Bank has always been committed to relationship banking and local decision-making,” notes Tommy Forsythe, president. “Lance’s experience, leadership and dedication to our customers make him the right person to lead our lending efforts into the future.”

Established in 1905, Ozona Bank has locations in Ozona, Wimberley, San Marcos and San Antonio.
