Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

November 12–18, 2023

Branches

The OCC reports that Citizens National Bank, based in Cameron, has established a new branch at 1711 Central Texas Expwy., Ste 105, in Killeen.

The OCC reports that The First National Bank of Hughes Springs, based in Hughes Springs, has applied to establish a branch at 100 N. Columbus in Marshall.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Investar Bank NA, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to relocate a branch from 24 E. Greenway Plaza in Houston to 20 Greenway Plaza, Ste. 120, in Houston.

The TDB reports that it has approved an application by North Dallas Bank & Trust Co., based in Dallas, to establish a branch at 671 State St. in Southlake.

The TDB reports that it has approved applications by Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, to establish the following branches: 494 Hwy. 71 W in Bastrop and 4720 Williams Dr., Ste. 100, in Georgetown.

The TDB reports that The First State Bank, based in Abernathy, has applied to establish a branch at 210 S. Swenson St. in Stamford.

The TDB reports that Susser Bank, based in Dallas, has applied to establish a branch at 901 Mopac Expy. S, Ste. 100, in Austin.
