Mowen Joins Rio Bank as Trust Investment Officer in San Antonio

Corey MowenCorey M. Mowen CFP, DPT, MS, has joined McAllen-based Rio Bank as vice president and trust investment officer in the San Antonio region. He has been involved with business management for more than 10 years, with the past five years focused on wealth management.

Mowen holds a BS degree from Texas Tech University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UT Health–San Antonio and an MS degree in personal finance from the College for Financial Planning. He will complete his second MS degree in financial analysis in December 2025. He is a certified financial planner professional. Additionally, he is a certified financial analyst level I candidate. Mowen serves on the boards of the Financial Planning Association of San Antonio & South Texas and Eva’s Heroes, and mentors college students through University Methodist Church.

Established in 1985, Rio Bank operates 16 banking center locations in the Rio Grande Valley and San Antonio.
