Maverick Bank Names Wood Senior Vice President

January 1, 2026

Stacey WoodFort Davis-based Maverick Bank has appointed Stacey Wood senior vice president of commercial and agricultural banking. In her new role, she will work alongside Michael Eisenwine, Big Bend regional president, to support local businesses, ranchers, farmers and families across West Texas.

Wood has 15-plus years of experience, beginning her career in agricultural lending with the USDA Farm Service Agency. During her time there, she was named the Texas Farm Loan Officer Trainee of the Year.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Wood holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in animal science. Her family is involved in ranching and is connected to the local agricultural community.

Established in 1911 as Fort Davis State Bank, Maverick Bank operates eight banking offices throughout the Big Bend region and West Texas.
