Louisiana-based Origin Bank Opens New Office in The Woodlands, Hires Staley for Business Development

May 1, 2025

Choudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank recently announced two news items about its presence in The Woodlands.

Gil StaleyThe bank has hired  Gil Staley to serve as director of business development in The Woodlands. He brings more than 45 years of experience to his new role. He previously served as chief executive officer of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, for which he recruited new businesses and oversaw daily operations and the financial integrity of the organization. In his new role, he will support Origin Bank’s strategic growth in the community, retaining and expanding area business development and strengthening relationships with key partners.

“Gil is a well-respected member of the community who is deeply invested in its success,” says Jody Proler, regional chief operating officer.
