Louisiana-based Origin Bank Hires Williams as Senior Vice President of Business Development in North Texas

Charles WilliamsChoudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has hired Charles P.A. Williams to serve as senior vice president of business development/North Texas region. He joins Origin Bank with nearly five years of alternative small-business lending experience, specializing in business development and real estate lending. In his new role, he will source new small- to medium-sized business loans and deposits, as well as real estate lending loans. Williams is based at Origin Bank’s Dallas Financial Center located at 3838 Oak Lawn Ave.

“As Origin continues to expand in the Dallas area, it’s important to have the right people in place to serve our customers,” says Todd Cornelius, regional executive vice president of business development for the bank’s North Texas region. “Charles has the professional expertise our business clients need.”

Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management with a minor in general business from the University of Mississippi and is a licensed Texas real estate broker.

Established in 1912, Origin Bank has more than 40 banking centers located from Dallas/Fort Worth across North Louisiana to Central Mississippi, as well as in Houston.
