This position is responsible for providing analytical support to the lending officers in the analysis of credit and risk for the Bank. In addition, this position will be responsible for training and mentoring junior-level credit analysts.
Requirements include:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in the analysis of credit for commercial loans.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and tax returns.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to research, read and interpret legal documents, regulatory information and any other information pertaining to the credit analysis process.
