Jacksboro National Bank, a community bank, is seeking an experienced loan officer to develop and maintain a commercial, agriculture, real estate, and consumer portfolio. This individual must be detail-oriented and customer-focused. The loan officer will be responsible for such tasks as loan origination, underwriting, reporting to the loan committee, and monitoring new and existing loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate loan applications to determine creditworthiness
- Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
- Extend credit within lending limits
- Recommend loans to loan committee
- Follow and apply loan policies and procedures
- Continually monitor and work past dues and exceptions
- Perform routine review of existing credits
- Council potential and existing customers with financial advice

Education, Experience, and Requirements
- BS or BA degree desired
- 5 to 10 years of lending experience in commercial, RE, and agriculture preferred
- Base salary commensurate upon experience
