Jacksonville-based Austin Bank Celebrates Two New Branches in Houston Region

May 29, 2025

On May 22, Jacksonville-based Austin Bank and the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the bank’s two new full-service banking centers in Houston and Spring. The event was well attended by both chambers and business leaders, as well as the Austin Bank leadership team and employees.

The Spring office is under the leadership of Rita Segovia, retail office manager, and the Houston office is under the leadership of Kathy Flannelly, vice president/retail office manager, with Bob Tyer serving as executive vice president and Houston president.

The new Austin Bank offices are located at 8500 Cypresswood Dr., Ste. 101, in Spring and 20333 State Hwy. 249, Ste. 100,  in Houston.

Established in 1900, Austin Bank operates 40 Texas locations within 28 cities and 14 counties. Austin Bank is locally owned and operated by the Austin family, which is celebrating 116 years of service in the Texas banking industry.
