Regulatory Actions

Here are the latest regulatory agency transactions regarding Texas bank applications—including new charters, mergers and acquisitions, and the establishment and relocation of bank branches—as filed with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Texas Department of Banking (TDB), Federal Reserve Board of Dallas (FRBD) and the Federal Insurance Deposit Corp. (FDIC):

February 12–18, 2023

Name Changes

The TDB reports that Allegiance Bank, based in Houston, has changed its name to Stellar Bank.

Branches

The OCC reports that JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, based in Columbus, Ohio, has established a branch at 1935 W. Gray St. in Houston.

The OCC reports that First National Bank of East Texas, based in Gilmer, has established a branch at 1460 Hillcrest Dr. S in Sulphur Springs.

The OCC reports that First National Bank Texas, based in Killeen, has established a commercial loan office at 1750 Round Rock Ave., Ste. 300, in Round Rock.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The American National Bank of Texas, based in Terrell, to establish a branch at the southwest corner of FM 549 and FM 550 in Heath.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by Bank of America NA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, to establish a branch at 12003 US Hwy. 290 E, Bldg. 2, in Manor.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by The Commercial National Bank of Brady, based in Brady, to establish a branch at 110 Avenue H, Ste. 114, in Marble Falls.

The OCC reports that it has approved an application by First National Bank of McGregor, based in McGregor, to establish a branch at 9205 Oak Creek Dr. in Woodway.

The TDB reports that Frost Bank, based in San Antonio, has established a branch at 498 E. Stacy Rd. in Allen.
