West Texas State Bank Names Rosson Market President, Announces Additional Developments

July 31, 2025

On July 17, John E. Grist, president and CEO of Snyder-based West Texas State Bank, announced that the board of directors has appointed Justin Rosson as market president in Snyder. Rosson is a native of Snyder and a graduate of Lubbock Christian University.

Grist also announced that Toby J. Latham has been promoted to senior vice president/commercial lender at the Odessa branch. He is a native of Odessa, a graduate of Lubbock Christian University and has served several years in the Snyder banking office.

Additionally, Del E. Wells was elected an advisory director of West Texas State Bank. Based in Lubbock, he serves as a credit consultant for the bank. He has been an officer of banks in Andrews, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa and Snyder, and is a former National Bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Established in 1950, West Texas State Bank has branches in Snyder, Lubbock, Odessa and Rowena.
