Weatherford-based First Bank Texas has hired Courtney Garner Lewis to serve as its new Fort Worth area president to guide the bank’s continued growth in Tarrant County. The leadership announcement coincides with the opening of First Bank Texas’ newest office in Fort Worth, located at the Fort Worth Club Tower, Suite 800. The new location reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to investing in the Fort Worth area and providing personal, community-focused banking solutions.
Prior to joining First Bank Texas, Lewis held leadership roles with regional and national banks in commercial lending and relationship management.
“[Lewis’] deep understanding of the local market and her passion for building relationships make her the ideal leader to represent First Bank Texas as we expand our footprint in Fort Worth,” says Zan Prince, chairman of the board.
“Joining First Bank Texas feels like coming home,” Lewis says. “This is a bank that truly values its customers and communities. I’m honored to lead our Fort Worth efforts and look forward to growing alongside the businesses and families we serve.”
Established in 1880, First Bank Texas operates 14 branches across West Texas and North Texas.
