Texas Gulf Bank Hires McKnight for Wealth Management, Neyland for Commercial Lending

Houston-based Texas Gulf Bank NA recently hired two executives.

Winston McKnightWinston McKnight has joined the bank as executive vice president/head of wealth management. He will work out of the bank’s Voss location. With a career spanning 30 years, his areas of expertise include wealth management services, business development and asset management. Prior to joining Texas Gulf Bank, McKnight was an executive vice president/trust and financial manager at Cadence Bank in Houston. Before that, he served for more than 19 years at Wells Fargo Bank, including six years as vice president/senior trust and fiduciary specialist. McKnight earned his BBA degree in accounting from the University of Houston–Victoria. He is a certified public accountant, certified trust and financial advisor (American Bankers Association) and accredited trust fiduciary advisor (Campbell University).

Bob NeylandBob Neyland joins the bank as executive vice president/commercial lending manager in its CityCentre branch. With a banking career spanning more than 40 years, he has a wealth of experience and expertise in all areas of commercial banking and bank management. Prior to joining Texas Gulf Bank, Neyland served as bank office chief executive officer for Allegiance Bank Texas in Houston for more than 17 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas.

Established in 1913, Texas Gulf Bank operates nine banking offices in Houston and along the Texas Gulf Coast.
