Texan by Nature, a Texan-led conservation nonprofit organization founded by former Texas First Lady Laura Bush, has appointed Jayme Shy, senior vice president and associate general counsel/regulatory affairs at Dallas-based Comerica Bank, to its board of directors. Texan by Nature connects hundreds of conservation partners to catalyze conservation investment and activity across Texas.
With a distinguished 15-year career in financial regulatory law, Shy brings a wealth of experience to her new role. In her current role at Comerica Bank, she manages its office of regulatory relations and oversees regulatory engagements and interactions. In addition, she is a member of the bank’s environmental and social governance (ESG) committee and provides support to its Corporate Sustainability Program. Shy also serves as chair of the Texas Market Green Team, a Comerica Bank employee resource group focusing on sustainability awareness and implementing sustainable workplace solutions.
