Bank of Texas Welcomes Beeson and Carter to Fort Worth Private Wealth Team

February 14, 2022

Mark Nurdin, CEO for Bank of Texas, Fort Worth, announced the fourth quarter 2021 appointments of Brad Beeson as senior vice president/private wealth banker and Jason Carter as senior vice president/personal trust manager.

Brad BeesonPrior to joining Bank of Texas, Beeson spent nearly 10 years with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dallas, supporting ultra-high-net-worth clients throughout Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. At Bank of Texas, he will be responsible for developing new business, maintaining current client relationships and overseeing clients’ complex financial needs. Beeson holds a BBA degree in finance from the University of Tulsa. He has served the community by volunteering with The First Tee, Feeding Children Everywhere and Rebuild Together Tulsa.

Jason CarterCarter brings five years of experience in banking to the personal trust team. He will lead the Fort Worth personal trust team, administering an existing book of business and pursuing opportunities to acquire new business for the bank. He previously served as an associate financial planner at Clifton Capital Partners and Strittmatter Wealth Management Group. Most recently, Carter started the Fort Worth trust office for Happy State Bank and Trust, where he helped grow assets under management to approximately $50 million. Prior to joining the financial services industry, he was an associate trial attorney. Carter earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Texas, an MS degree in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University and a JD degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, he is a member of the State Bar, Tarrant County Bar Association and Tarrant County Probate Bar. Carter serves as president-elect for the Society of Financial Service Professionals/Fort Worth chapter and vice chair of the tax and estate planning section of the Tarrant County Bar Association.
