Western Heritage Bank Taps Hernandez as Assistant Vice President/Credit Underwriting

Bryan HernandezLas Cruces, New Mexico-based Western Heritage Bank announced that Bryan Hernandez has been named assistant vice president/credit underwriting. He will serve the bank’s El Paso region. Prior to this promotion, he worked as a credit analyst for the bank.

Hernandez, a native El Pasoan, has worked in the banking industry for more than five years. He held positions at two other financial institutions before joining Western Heritage Bank as an assistant controller in the accounting department. He earned a bachelor’s degree in global business management from the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico.

“We are pleased to have Bryan move into this new role,” says Greg Cory, president and CEO. “Since joining Western Heritage Bank, he has advanced steadily and his knowledge of underwriting makes him an asset to our continued growth.”

Established in 2001, Western Heritage Bank serves the border metroplex with a Texas location in El Paso, as well as two New Mexico locations in Las Cruces and Deming.
