Midland-based West Texas National Bank recently completed interior renovations on its Odessa banking office—ahead of schedule and despite weather setbacks, no less. NewGround, a St. Louis, Missouri-based architecture, design and project management firm, was selected to redesign and rebuild the 8,000-square-foot branded retail space.
The newly remodeled interior features an open-concept floor plan. Each branch department division now has its own conference room. An existing office space with a radius exterior window wall was converted into a new conference room and entry vestibules. Natural light illuminates the space through this window wall, bringing a warm, inviting feel to the new space. A lighter, neutral-toned color palette with artwork and environmental graphics makes the space look and feel connected to the local area and echoes West Texas National Bank’s sophisticated brand.
NewGround provided strategy, design, construction management and environmental services. The company hired vendors and contractors from surrounding areas to deliver the project.
Established in 1904, West Texas National Bank operates 11 branches serving Midland, Odessa, Pecos, Alpine, Kermit, Seminole, Terlingua, Crane and Denver City.
